Welcome to Christmas Lights Community, the home for Christmas lights enthusiasts.

Christmas Lights Community (CLC) is a collection of state and local organizations whose goal it is to help grow the hobby of Christmas lighting. We do this though a common message board, local meetings, and state wide workshops.

CLC assists state and local chapters by providing them with administrative support (web sites, message board, mailing lists, etc.) marketing support and assistance with the planning of their state and local chapters.

The concept of CLC is simple, help people in the same geographic area get together and share ideas. People who meet on a regular basis are more likely to assist other members with their Christmas projects. They are also more likely to assist them with other non-Christmas projects that may come up. In Texas, for example, it’s not uncommon for people to call out of the blue needing help with their web site, sprinkler system, electrical systems, etc.

There are other Christmas related organizations that are national in focus. These web sites and organizations serve a very valid purpose, and should not be ignored. However, the local aspect of the hobby is one that we feel strongly about. Building the hobby at the local level will only help grow the overall hobby in general.
