Blame Canada!

Another result of a stronger Canadian dollar? Christmas trees are going to cost more this year.

Prices for well-shaped trees are likely to rise about 15 percent this year because of the changing exchange rates. And, with Canada holding a sizable chunk of the U.S. Christmas tree market, that will likely push up the prices for locally grown trees, too.

Maybe the parents in Southpark were right.
