| Change my home address? |
| Per the CLC Terms and Conditions you are required to notify CLC when your home address changes. You can inform CLC of this change by using the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the message boards. |
| Find gatherings in my city or state? |
| Easy! Each state within CLC submits their meeting information to CLC for posting on our web site. Each event is open to anyone who wishes to attend. Simply visit the Gatherings page on the CLC web site to see when a meeting is being held in your area. |
| Get added to the CLC Map? |
| At the bottom of the page you will see a "Contact Us" link. Select the Display Map option from the "Subject" drop down menu.
Please be sure to include the following: Name/Display Name Address City State ZIP Description (Including web site if applicable.) |
| Start a state chapter? |
| As CLC grows and more members from a state join, CLC will create a forum for that state. There isn't a hard and fast rule on when the forum is created. Once a forum is created, current members will then be moved to that user group, which will give them access to their own state forum. If this group of people wishes to have a web site hosted by CLC, then the group will need to decide on who the coordinator will be. The coordinator will be responsible for maintaining the web site.
If you are a group of people from a state that wish to start a chapter, you don't have to wait for the above to happen. Simply email us using the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the page. Let us know who you are, and we'll get things going. Be sure to have everyone sign up here on CLC so we can get you going as quick as possible. There are a few basic requirements that all states must follow. You must allow CLC to host the web site, forums, and agree to follow the same Terms and Conditions that CLC has in place. This is to insure that all states are following the same membership guidelines. CLC's mission is to provide online resources to groups that want to start their own Christmas lighting community in their state. CLC's resources allow groups to be up and running online in a matter of days, leaving them only to worry about recruiting new members. |
